Hey guys. Just after a bit of advice. As you can see I wanna use protein as meal replacements and yea I know I should eat instead of using shakes as a source of food cos food is better etc it's just the convenience of just having a shake and adding water.. Or milk whatever. And not having to worry about what to eat. But I have been thinking id need a carb intake? So could I have a shake for breakfast. Morning tea. Lunch and afternoon tea or would u recommend having some carbs at lunch too? My lunchtime is usually about 3pm so maby carbs at morning smoko? any advice would be helpful thank u

do you want to replace all your meals with shakes? if they are all whey shakes then you may be setting yourself up for some trouble. whole foods (in addition to the usual p/c/f) provide us with vitamins, minerals and fibre.

you could maybe make your own shakes (few ideas around these forums re the home made weight gain shakes which are pretty much liquid meals in many cases) which include adding in grounded oats, peanut butter/olive oil and some other stuff (i remember reading someone mixed tuna in his... :? ), milk and ice cream with the whey powder to help make it more like a meal. exactly what you add can be as easy as just trying to make the macros match with the whole meals you are replacing these with. i have personally tried whey with peanut butter and oats (ground these up in the mixer first) and it's quite an easy meal but you have to play around with the consistency of the oats until you get something that won't make you feel like throwing up. didn't try the olive oil... tried mixing fish oil in once and I'll never do that again lol
