45 grams protein ideas?!

was on around 30g per meal but trying to pack on size, now needing 45g per meal. looking for any ideas on how to get this into each meal (4-5) daily. was thinking about having a glass of milk or a whey shake with each meal to ramp up the numbers a bit but this will obviously start costing a bit. usually full after 30g so 45 is proving difficult!

150g of Chicken or Steak usually does the trick

Keep it simple

You were having 30g a meal, and now you need 45g...so add 50% more of whatever your protein source was. Simple enough. Big glass of milk also a good option, the calci-trim ones usually have around 5g/100ml.

Agree on getting a bigger stomach too

how are you making up this protein?

as Phedder suggested just add 50% extra of what you were already using for the protein (assuming it was a relatively lean protein source that is) - if you eat meat then this is real easy but if you're vegetarian I guess you might have a lot of trouble in which case I could only suggest sipping on some whey after the meal or perhaps getting some 'easy' calories in from alternative source such as adding bit of olive oil to the meal.

i remember having troubles fitting more food into me during the earlier days of bulking. some things I found which help are:

* bit of cardio before a main meal helps ramp the appetite right up so i just take the dog for a brisk walk just before dinner

* soon as i cut out milk from my diet i also noticed a much better appetite. i'm not lactose intolerant (at least I don't think I am??), handled lots of milk daily just fine but I guess it was slowing down digestion rates too much so out with that & suddenly lots more food can get through

* you need to work on gradually increasing the serving sizes of your meals just as you would increase the weights on an exercise over the course of some weeks. the body just needs time to adapt to the higher intake, just don't give up & keep working at it

usually tins of chop chicken and tuna etc to get my food, think my stomach might just need time to adjusting to the increase in food, eating heaps more carbs now too. sweet will take a trip down the supermarket maybe load up on some steak etc, bit more of a variety from eggs and tinned meat!

That's pretty interesting. I'll do some experimentation with that. More pizza and ice cream I guess

185g yellow finned tuna in spring water with 150g of smashed Kurmura and raw finely diced onion. Taste great and the texture is awesome.

Macronutrients:

-40g protein

-30g carbohydrates

-1g fat

Add flax seed oil to the mashed kurmura if wanting more calories or up the amount of kurmura.
