How often do you free squat compared to box squatting Dr?

Is all of your squat training focussed on doing the harder movements?

I follow the Westside system so I do a max effort movement once a week. This could be a box squat, a trapbar deadlift, a deficit deadlift. Very rarely will I do power squats or regular deadlifts for that matter.

Ask as many questions as you want bro. I haven't done speed work for squats for a while. I may well again at some stage. I have just started doing speed bench again.

Best powerlifter I have lifted against would be Wade Hooper. He schooled me in the squat and the bench. I always enjoyed watching Wayne and Derek Pomana lift. And Reuben Simanu. Cathy Millen was also pretty amazing to watch.

The best athlete I have seen in the gym would be Valerie Adams. I have seen her push press 140 behind the neck.

Did Wade Hooper become the best by training the hardest and most regularly?lol at me still talking but i appreciate it.

Hooper is a freak. I don't know a lot about his training. He's an average deadllifter but has still won plenty of world titles. Coan still my favourite lifter although Efferding would be my raw idol.

Do you do a lot of reading bro? You seem to be a powerlifting encyclopedia!
