Just read this whole thread sorry I have nothing to add really but F&&Kin laugh..... snoopy when you hit over 305kg for a single bench rep in a comp at anybody weight fat as you call it or at a pencil neck status I'll take a bit more notice of your comments thats the NZ record the world record is over 455kg yeah untested and mutliply bla bla bla ..... but it is not 13 x 140kg and bouching that shit like a tramp I could only imagine  yeah still good for a gym lift but in the powerlifting world it's shit..... let face it

Inb4fuckyou'llhashbrother.....

but just for the record you bench 155kg at the last coast comp for a single? which was really good raw well done.... you seem to have improved alot over the last 6 - 8 months 140 x 13 would stick you at the 210kg bench mark raw going off the one rep max cal... yeah its not always right so I would look forward to watching you bench 190+ with ease

And if you do bench 200 + under 90kg raw in a comp that would place you as one of the best pound for pound benchers in NZ.... is this real life :pfft:

not hating just keeping shit real keep training hard.

Thanks, the raw record for my weight is 240kg's :)

Max is 170 bro and ugly too, I never use those calculators they don't work

170kg raw bench under 90kg bodyweight is good stuff solid off season and productive look forward to seeing you post a big bench in five weeks 8)

PS as for the calulator comment I find the one from 5,3,1 program bang on with the rep range being under 10 anything thing over it yes it seems to out anyway as stated good benching lets see a clean 170 then....

My advice for what it's worth...

Post up something meaningful. In the meantime, as my grandfather used to say, "breath through your nose". :)

Hey mate thanks,

I have no idea what you mean by off season I thought that was for bodybuilders and I don't know what a 5,3,1 is I'm guessing reps?

I have never done a bench programme thingy I just bench on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If flat feels heavy I'll do incline, or floor press or partials or dumbells.

If my body is wasted I'll do legs.

Smolov or whatever it is was too hard as I had to carry a calculator round and I got annoyed because It only let me do 3-4 times a week and I like to train every day.

Thank you for your comments, I hope to see you on the day :D

Give it death Snoopy! Smash out those reps at training and enjoy the gains.

It stops going up sometimes though? But I got a tip from Eric lillie bridge's interview who hit 220kg's raw at 19 to change hand spacing when bench press stops improving and that seems to work for me
