Hello guys, :)

Me and my friend are thinking to build a website to sell Gym Clothing. e.g. Singlets, T-shirts etc.

I wanted to ask you guys what products should I add.. I dont just want to have unprinted small, medium, large size singlet. I want more varieties.

So guys please help me out. I am not expecting to be a millionaire with this website. at least to cover my cost of protein is enough.

Thanks.

At least get jacked or ripped like Nzhredder or Josef Rakich and build up a huge fan base before introducing your website. Or else your website wont get any traffic at all unless you are willing to fork out huge amounts to place advertisements on high traffic websites and Google

i don't think he needs to get ripped to sell gymwear. he is not advertising himself but the products he sells.

Well duh! What I'm saying is that most likely he will set up his website and he will get maybe 10 hits a day if he's lucky. Hardly enough to "pay for his protein".

Whereas if he was jacked and had a FB page with thousands of 'likes', there'd be a lot more traffic. Also he could just use himself as a model to save money. You wouldn't buy a gym singlet that showed a picture of a skinny phaggot wearing it.

wtf does anyone buy gym singlets that show pictures of anyone on them? i thought he was just gonna start a gym clothing shop not some phaggotry merchandise outlet??

also, you don't need to be a popular internet figure to get more than 10 hits a day (though it would help). you start out like any other business and spread the word through promos/advertising. the effort required in building up an online fan base such as zyzz/rakich involves the most expensive type of investment (time), would not recommend over the usual process. you could probably mass up a big following simply by sponsoring NZAesthetics and heavily stocking XXS sizes though.

for guaranteed success, you need to stock these as every testosterone pumping red blooded alpha male is bound to wear these to the gym :

":2pze7kkh]^ not sure if srs..he obviously means if the OP was modelling the singlet and in the pic of him modelling it if he looked like a skinny phaggot no one would buy..not anything about a pic of him on the singlet.

oh damn i see, in any case you still don't have to model everything yourself just to sell it lol. get some chicks with aesthetically modified chests to model all your stuff :pfft:

Hey guys, haven't got time to read this thread.. So... I know I dont have the physique to be a model for a clothing brand.. And I dont think i ever said that anyway.. And i posted this thread for ideas about what I should include, not that I am launching the website next day.....

Thanks for the ideas guys..(which is what i was after..) and f*ck the de-motivators.. If it was for you guys, there would be no zyzz etc.

So.. I have designed the website but not the products and etc. It will look kind of like this:

prices are random..

Oh, really? Dude, you're young and impressionable. Just like the Justin Bieber fans today, they will outgrow him tomorrow, when they realise he isn't 'all that'.

I wish you well in the cut-throat market you have chosen, but don't underestimate the power of companies with capital. Unless you have a shitload of cash to invest, you may find it hard to get going.

Unless it is a 5 week delivery (while you spend their money on outsourcing the product on eBay, and getting it mailed to you, then repackaging and posting it to the customer).

And you should take the time to read everything, if you want to gauge the viability of your venture... Only relying on the positives you want to hear is ignoring possible problems that exist in the real world. If you are selling to a wide market, be aware than 40 year old weight trainers will possibly avoid your marketing if you sprinkle the zyzz sentiments on your page.

Hell, at 40, they have seen many companies rise and fall, and far too many fads come crashing down. Stubbie shorts were more popular than zyzz ever was, and they died a natural death. Well, except for in Gore.

If you are targeting the youth crowd, then ignoring people like me would be all good. But in business, it serves you well to know the target audience, and also people than may negatively influence the market against you.

Just saying. Good luck. 8)
