about 4 weeks ago went 2 doctors, feeling weak & low on energy,had a blood test,found i had some virus .haven't been 2 the gym since.

lost 2 kg,feel small, weak & flabby.on top of that have been shifting house & work.

can't wait 2 get back 2 the gym on monday.i think i might b sore next week.

Hi hawkeye

I'm really sorry to hear you have been so sick.

I'm sure once you get back into the gym you will feel soo much better. I always find that when i'm feeling bad and then i go and have a workout it makes me feel so alive and energised.

I'd say you will be pretty sore next week after your time off from training, but they say "no pain no gain".

Hope you feel 100% again soon.

...and keep your protein intake high in the meantime!

This is very good advise, not only will it help conserve your hard earned muscle, but i read that high protein intakes will help you to fight your cold faster, not directly obviously but in some form.
