Creatine

Just browsing a few vids on you tube. Is there much truth to what this guys is saying?

Wow nice video man. Can tell this guy is pretty smart, covers it reasonable detail yet makes it so easy to understand.

Of the studies he pointed out, would be nice to get some figures especially regarding what sort of dosages they used.

He may have over sensationalised it a little because it seems he was delivering the speech to peers/shareholders or something to convince them that their company should use Creatine but in general, bodybuilders have known for a long time about anabolic effects of supplementing Creatine Monohydrate.

myostatin stuff O.O : http://www.who-sucks.com/people/monstro ... y-pictures

Yeh it seems adding a bit of baking soda can increase the effectiveness of creatine as well and save you a bit cash buying all that nicely marketed stuff. Same idea as adding an alkaline to coke to make crack, for some reason it makes it stronger, but I can't quite remember the science behind it.

the same thing happens with betel nut. nothing on its own, but add an alkali, like lime (not citrus!) and away you go.

Wow thats quite interesting. I always thought creatine helped you build muscle indirectly though increasing the capacity of your energy systems and therefore allowing you to train harder and get stronger. I never knew it decreased myostatin and directly promotes muscle growth.
