any tips for bicep recovery times?

Ultimately it's so dependant on your personal recovery time, how long you've been training for (weeks, months, years?) and even on the rest of your workout split. The best way for you to find out whether you'll be overtraining your biceps by hitting them every 4 days is to give it a go and keep a log of it all. Check for size/strength gains(or losses), note if you're feeling more and more exhausted over time or if it just feels right.

I have a feeling I might already know the answer, but do you do squats and deadlifts once every four days as well?

inb4

day1 ; biceps

day 2 ; abs

day 3; chest

day 4; front delts

repeat

but even if he wasn't doing legs every 4 days he could have a legit reason for wanting to hit biceps on a higher frequency, maybe everything else is doing well and he really just wants/needs to bring the biceps up to scratch
