Hi there , i'm afer some advice. I'm wanting to drop down weight and fat. Been doing weight watchers for the last few months with minimal results. its driving me crazy, my workouts are heavy and intense 4xpw, also cardio after that . I have been staying within the requirements regarding the points ( if anything i have been low in points), My muscle size has been growing , so thats good, but its that weight & fat loss that i need to change now. Anyway i'm thinking my carb intake might be preventing me dropping down. What about atkins style diet? Is this a good idea? any sugestions welcome.

GOING CRAZY!!

I doubt I can help you but the others here can, they'll need to have you write down your diet (along with your height/weight/sex) how do you know you're getting muscles but not losing fat? Do you go for a bodyfat check? sometimes you should not totally rely on the scales (unless you need to meet some requirements for something)

dunno my 2 cents...but I will bring it up next time we have a mods only poker night

if your goal is to lose weight and BF, eating in a caloric deficit is a start point. with that alongside cardio, you will be successful in reaching that goal. but be prepared to say goodbye to a bit of muscle, this comes hand in hand when dropping weight and BF. to maintain majority of the hard earned muscle you have worked for, meeting your macros is important, especially when dropping weight  im no expert, but whether weight watchers/atkins diets accommodate these needs is another question, where a diet constructed around bodybuilding principles might be more helpful! throw your stats up im sure someone in the community can help ya out. As i said before i aint no expert but a lot of reading/research and hit and miss checks with my diet, i have found what works for me. good luck!!
