Good Afternoon Guys and girls,

i would love some help, at this stage i am on a budget for Food - i am looking at getting lean and cut, not to worried about getting big, but as i was told its what you eat that does the changes ...... well at the moment, i can only afford to spend around $140 per Fortnight on Food, brought an vehicle on payments for two years.....

so is if possible to get ripped with only Spending $140 per fortnight,

Im 6.1

about 96kgs,

i do go to the gym, but didn't worry what i eat, which i'm wasting my time at the gym, i'm fit but not cut, i am taking Lean Shot Protien, as well...

is there an plan someone can give me thats really cheap on food cost? if possible

thanks

tins of tuna. 1 can 4 serves for round $1.80 18g protein per serve, doesnt taste the best but the results are worth it.

also pak'n save sometimes has sales for a 5kg bag of chicken cuts for $20 which is a awesome deal! boil that, leave to cool down then take the skin off and have with some veges or rice

if you're in Auckland then go to those Asian vege stores, they sometimes sell meat for cheaper than the supermarket (in b4 cat meat) also the eggs are cheaper too (veges aswell)

More meals from a dog!

Grow your own veges, digging the garden good cardio workout, weeding doubles for stretches!

And while you're at it, grab a couple of bunnies. Their poo fertilises your garden, and you eat their babies. I'm on my way to an almost-free, never-ending source of very lean protein.

Yup, dead serious. Cook em just like you would any other meat... grill, fry, bake, hell if ya wanna be really cool, spit roast them over a fire pit in ur back yard  . Once they're butchered you'll get the most meat out of the rear legs and back, but the ribs and front legs are good too.

They're ready to kill at about 12 weeks. With a gestation period of 4 weeks, you can have a litter butchered every 4 months. So once I have 4 does breeding, on a staggered roster, I'll have a litter every month. Unlike most mammals, they can get pregnant while still nursing, so there doesn't have to be any down-time for them.

Even better, a girl at my gym is now setting up chooks, so once we're both up and running, I'll be swapping rabbit meat for free-range eggs and the odd chicken. No GMO, no irradiated meats, no chemical-infused meat...the list of benefits just goes on and on.

And the kids do most of the work...they know that the mum & dad bunnies are for pets, the babies are for eating :lol:

Na, not cruel at all... better that they understand from an early age that food comes from other beasts, that it doesn't just magically appear shrink-wrapped in the supermarket. Modern people are too far removed from the sources of their food...hence the preponderence of obesity, diabetes etc and the booming mass-industry that is food production. I think most people could benefit from getting a bit more up-close & personal with their food

Hmmm, tastes like chicken  Na seriously, it's quite a rich tasting meat, kinda hard to compare it to anything else. Fucken delicious though.
