Indigestion

Recommended Posts

for the past 3 or so days ive been getting pretty bad indigestion. does anyone know of any ways to prevent this etc?

am thinking it may be the bread I have recently started eating or maybe just more food in general since ive stopped dieting?

any tips for this would be much appreciated :)

Yep, I get really bloated going back on wheat products after a long period without.

It does get better eventually, but in the meantime you could try taking some digestive enzymes with your bread meal.

That's normally an indication of gluten intolerance Pseudonym and it's best for you to stay away from it as much as possible, cuz even though you feel like you adjust to it after a while, it still causes you not to function at a 100%

Yup that's right, it's almost like lactose intolerance where you might be fine with a bit of milk in your coffee but get severe runs if you drank a glass of it

Well 100g Harraways Rolled Oats has the same 14g of protein as 4 slices of Nature's Fresh Multigrain Toast bread. As far as I know that 14g of protein is all derived from gluten in both cases.

What quantities of oats have you been comfortable with and how much bread have you been having when you experienced indigestion?

Edit: well f*ck me never mind. "non-contaminated, pure oats are gluten-free. They are safe for most people with gluten-intolerance." etc

3-4 cups of oats a day portion sizes 1-2 cups with no issues. vogels usually 4-5 slices per meal once a day sometimes twice
