Golfer's Elbow

Section

Recommended Posts

Been a year since my rotator cuff has made a near 100% recovery..... Now this shit happens.

3 weeks ago I was doing tri pull downs with a rope and this tingly feeling took over the inside of my elbow. It got worse as the session went on and i had to stop. I rested for a day and then hit shoulders, this aggravated it to the extend that i had to pull pin on my session again.

over the last 2 weeks i have just done legs/abs/cardio and really light weights on everything else. Still getting a wee bit of pain.

Anyone got this issue? What can i do to get this sorted without fuking my training. Been trying different weight exercises and some are fine but others still aggravate it heaps.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Cheers in adv.

I have that, and am numb on some spots of my body. Sometimes get nerve pain on opposite elbow, knee, ankle.

I eliminated my shoulder pain by warming up well, and changing elbow position on benchpress.

Maybe lighter, slower.

Im a fellow sufferer and this is what we do for it...it comes and goes now and I think the key is to condition the tendons.

I also use a compression technique where I bind the elbow with a leg wrap or some times 2 very tightly with an outstretched arm then get some one to manipulate the joint for me. Use a few different ranges of motion and work the pain so to speak. Release the wraps after a few minutes (it hurts so it wont be long before you cant bear it anyway  ) and let the blood rush back into the joint. This rush of blood will help clear out and heal the area.

I'll vid some today when Im in the gym 8)

I am currently getting ultrasound on my knee (medial collateral ligament/medial meniscus). It is meant to encourage an immune response in the area it is aimed at.

But the best thing so far is the tape that restricts movement (to 45 degrees) and the compression bandage. It feels so good I wish I had them on every joint.
