I dont think it is us that have to get over it

Was going to make this my first raw try out, but due to this damn head/chest flu, my training has taken a major hit.

Will be there to watch and support though. Going to up my training and aim to compete later in the year  Rumour has it a few ladies from the gym I train at, may be giving it a go!

I have grown to love powerlifting. When I do lift next, it'll be purely based on the fact that I love this sport and hope to encourage other women to do the same.

Thanks Damo.

It's nice to feel wanted and knowing that with CBC's support, I'm going to hit my targets by the end of the year.

Next stop Squat = 100kgs+, Deadliift 120kgs+ and the ever frustrating Bench, no longer frustrating lmao.

BTW this is Powerlifting bro so we are all part of the Fatty Crew :pfft:

Fixed

Its in my hood so may help out or may just have a play on the bench. Either way Ill be there!

Give me your t-shirt size and you can rep us too, will show you the secret handshake too...don't be a jerk and send me on a wild goose chase like TWL did when he said he wore "xtra medium"

Rumour has it that Danny nemani and sateki langi will be lifting this Saturday. Could see some big raw numbers put up by these freaks. That should warm up everyone's shoulders!

8) they are both top class lifters...will be there to cheer them on.. along with our CBC lifters :) Should be a great comp!

reasonably close to me too! what sorta numbers would the avg competitor be lifting in something like this?

That would depend on what weight class/age group/how long you've been training I think.

But at the end of the day it doesn't matter what you lift it's about getting out there, giving it a go, HAVING SOME FUN! and seeing if PL is the sport for you and something that you would like to pursue (if you are not PL training already). Just my 2c worth

You would be open age (23-35 i think)

Weight class U93kg

It really varies mate. This comp is a novice comp. There will be a few experienced lifters and a few newbies and evrything inbetween. It will be great for you to come and see for yourself and get a taste of the sport!
