I don't remember ever seeing a competive bodybuilder (well thats a bodybuilder by definition I guess, so lets just say anyone who had the balls to get on stage! :pfft: ) making derogatory remarks about a female competitor.

I think that type of thing is the domain of "wannabodybuilders" and forum champs!

Anyway not hating on anyone.... but realisitically if you haven't been on stage your opinion on competitive bodybuilding is worth about as much as a 15 year old girl scouts view on the criteria for Olympic selection for cycling....just saying. :pfft:

Fait bit of waxing involved there. But I wouldn't mind competing against one as it makes for an awesome post comp feast, so either way, I get fed AND get the trophy!! LOL

What if the sheep wins? HA HA HA A HA HA

I'm not doubting that at all, I've seen the size of some of you Kiwis and I'm guessing this may transfer over into some sort of cross human-sheep in-breading(f*ck, I'm going to get hammered for this   )

I live in sydney now, I miss them kiwi sheep! LOL

Good point Nate...but it's not much different to how we as humans talk about boxing matches. I bet the boxers would love to tell their haters they aren't fighting for their sakes - right?

But you are right, competitive bodybuilders aren't up on stage for public viewing and criticism. We're there to be judged by 5 or 6 qualified judges who do know what they are looking for and I wouldn't go to all that effort for anything less.

Having said that she isn't my type \:D/ she's got no chance with me, sorry Lisa

Basically what a few of us have been trying to say.

Look, her physique is impressive as f*ck. She'd make a fucking awesome Olympia run no doubt, but you can't deny that she looks masculine as hell. No, I'm not jealous, it's just stating the obvious.

I don't think anyone is taking away from her personality. Most girls actually looks more masculine when they're at such a low body fat percentage, even some that haven't touched the juice because their jaw line is much more defined. It happens, that's bodybuilding.

This is a bridge

Let's all get some cardio done and get the f*ck over it

Yer, 100%. Most people forget this.

All opinions to the side...you have got to take your hat off to the female physique & figure girls who work dam side harder than most males do to get a body that many men would be proud to have. Its a massive commitment with some long term implications. That's why Free Choice is such a great thing :D

However, there has always been the question of what is politically correct & this reflects in Federations waxing & waning their opinions & direction over the years with the resulting signal being sent to athletes being unclear as to the criteria required. Maybe this will never get clarified while we have a sport/art called BODYBUILDING & a drug based methodology behind it based on male hormones & growth factors.

so ugly :(

i dont even look @ them as women, when i look at them, i see a man trying to look like a women

Ugly? Really? You think so? End of the day it's bodybuilding - physique woman - and if you don't like the picture - don't look - pretty simple.

Our girl Lisa has been working her arse off to get to where she is - having seen her go through her diet from the beginning to where she is now. Unlike you, she doesn't go onto a forum and slag off people - she's got a hell of a lot more class than that..... and we wonder why some of our top nz bodybuilders cannot be bothered coming onto this forum.

Don't tell me she's been training her ass off so she can appear attractive to 'rileys rainbows'?? You train to please your self and reach your goals, not to please others. At the end of the day she is an elite representative of the sport/art she takes part in and that's all that should really matter to her.

Most people will look at bodybuilders (regardless of male or female) as "ugly, too big, grosss, too veiny, crazy steroid abuser".. for men they will say stupid things like "hes so jacked i bet he got no balls anymore" and for women "dam shes so manly i bet she has grown a pair of nuts". No matter where you go you will get it sadly, this is real life so just get used to ignoring those kind of things. this is called nz bodybuilding but really it's a place for everyone who goes to the gym so definitely tonnes of different opinions will come out.

:pfft: your so right. And i think some people are missing th difference between a harmless opinion and a remark. Each to their own but yeah some people havng the audacity to be rude here when they cant achieve 5% of what these people can!

Hello heavenly blessed beauty whose inner beauty and outter beauty is simply divine and everlasting, Yours is an ancient beauty, the kind of muse that inspired Omar Khayyam or the Chauraspanchasika. Surely it was an angel like you who wooed Odysseus as he stood tied to the mast or whose light burst from the balcony that inspired Romeo... to song. Oh be my muse, fair princess and we shall teach the generations to come how to love.

HAHAHA awesome
