Cytopsport not sent in? Damn... Now I'm curious.

But how long would they all last if the label differed by what appear to be large amounts? Surely an independent watchdog monitors this? (but not that report)

This is why I only use unflavoured 100% WPI.

Me also. Even if these commercial powders measured up to their specifications on the label some of the protein percentages are low anyway. To many fillers in the supplement market.

Hugh, I don't use the evolv WPI as im abit skeptical about how cheap it is and its nutritional profile.

Typical profile of Alacen 895 (Fonterra WPI) is 90.5% so i'm not sure where they source it from.

Not saying or implying Evolv do this but i think some places mix their WPI to make it cheaper, as seen above consumers are none the wiser. Id rather go with a reputable producer like fonterra as they really have no need to mix lower grade protein and lie about their stats.

Btw, if anyone cares Davis Trading have brought it a new product (for the meantime) in place of Alacen 450. The brand is Tatua which is a local company and the WPC is sold by the 25kg bag for about $500 bucks. Its not instatised but does mix ok. The powder is fine as f*ck and makes a mess a times.

It's on my To-Do list to get some independent tests done here. But we've got other projects I want to launch first, so don't wait up!

Im using Evolve WPI.

I emailed them asking which WPI they use, and they emailed back saying they use Alacen 895. Which is normally $36 per kg from davis trading if you buy a 20kg bag. I have no idea how much it costs davis trading, so for them to sell it at $35 per kg then they must be buying it buy the tonne from fonterra??

I enquired thru another company and fonterra sell Alacen 895 at about $20 per kg, if you but a tonne worth of 20kg bags.

I hope Evolve uses A895 because Im downing shitloads of it everyday, no stomach problems at all and it looks the same and mixes the same as A895 strait from fonterra.

Evolve definitly has the best deal in NZ at the moment on protein, I dont know why anybody would use anything else. If they is a better deal then please tell me.

All our products are listed as is, we dont change numbers or anything as its illegal and immoral.

The reason its cheap, is because we choose to sell it cheaper & can. I personally dislike NZ's overpricing on products & services in genreral and will not do it on anything we sell. Which is why pretty much everything is cheaper from us.
