Entry level Shirts and Suits.

I've been procrastinating from exams today and stumbled across these;

Inzer Z-suit

Inzer Standard Blast Shirt

Inzer Heavy Duty Blast Shirt

I never knew there were entry level shirt and suits, I thought it was struggle to hit depth/touch and burst blood vessels, or nothing :lol: Maybe not all that extreme, but I never thought there was, I suppose, 'weaker' supportive equipment out there. Naive, I know.

Does anyone have experience with these? Approximately how much carry over do they give, it wouldn't seem much?

Would these types of suits and shirts have any benefit for a raw lifter in training, helping to gain confidence/experience with slightly heavier weights without providing too much assistance or totally changing the groove?

From some quick reading it seems some people use them simply as a safety measure in training to help protect the shoulders and hips, older lifters or those with a few battle wounds mostly.

Waste of cash imo. Some big lifts have been done in them but with the gear thats available today why disadvantage yourself?

Just get 1 size up from tight in the gear that you want to get use to it and once you get the jist of equipped lifting you can get tighter gear or just get fatter :pfft:

I was thinking more along the lines of a training aid (and toy :pfft: ) than for competition. Mostly as a confidence booster under heavier weights, but also I suppose as an introduction to gear if I ever went that way.

I can't really forsee myself as wanting to compete equipped, at least not for a long while. Earliest would be in my final year as a junior if I had a shot at any records, but that's fairly unlikely :lol: Otherwise I'd like to take raw lifting as far as my body will let me, then gear can make up the shortfalls :pfft:

This is all hypothetical at the moment, I won't have any money to spend on anything non-essential until next year :(

go for 2nd hand loose gear...not comp fit. Check you size on **** website and let me know what size youd be for 1 size down from comp bro :wink:

1 size down from comp? Did you mean up?

Using their chart my quads are too big for my bum :lol: But it seems a meet fit would be a 44, regular fit 46 for Squat suits. Bench Shirts meet fit (up 1 size?) 48, regular fit 50. So when the money's there I should be looking out for some 2nd hand Furys and Cents in these sizes?

After a bit more thinking I've started to entertain the idea of a geared competition. Still with a focus on raw lifting, but it could be fun to do 1 geared comp a year to change things up a bit. Pretty sure I'll have the lowest total in my class at Equipped Nats this year lifting Classic :lol:
