Personal use and Commercial use

Recommended Posts

Had a quick question which was eating my head .. getting caught with gear used for personal use i would assume would be 3 -4 vials i.e. 40 ml. How many vials or ml''s custom see as " gear for commerical use" and can charge you .. 100ml or more ?

I don't know but can give u examples which they probably use.

If you're a skinny fucka then 4-5 bottles might b ok. But if you can justify a 1-2 bottles a week habit with your size then u have a good case to be carrying 10 or 20 bottles for a cycle.

Assuming this is Customs and not your house...you would be silly to bring them here in liquid form in bottles with you. Ties u directly to the gear, case closed either way. And for what? Save yourself $1,000 maybe...don't bother it isn't worth it.

If you're talking getting busted at home or in the car they'll look for proof like cash, IOU book, txt msgs, label designs on your PC, anything to tie u to dealing. Most dealers keep product and cash together in a container or form some habit around how they keep their stash money separate from their own money...a dead giveaway to them that you're dealing.

If you're a producer of gear, then chemicals and equipment you use wil be the proof. They only have to suspect you of more than personal use to get a warrant these days. So even though you might be a giant and can explain 10 bottles of gear in your car...they will leave that out in the report to the JP who is signing your search warrant just so they can get in and look for evidence.

That's just a guess btw, depends on what you say when you're first picked up, then interviewed, and what they find etc.

What do others think, must be some on here that have been caught surely or are those guys and girls all in the nick (yeah heaps of female dealers in the background of UG production/ dealing in NZ)

What exactly are the laws around aas use in NZ? Illegal to produce and sell but legal for personal use?

hahahahahahaha :pfft: such innocence

They are covered by the medicines act, someone maybe able to clarify the exact jargon.

But they aren't like Class A, B, or C drugs etc it's just possession of a medicine without prescription (my basic understanding of it in NZ anyway).

There are some great questions here that I can shed some light on with hard learned facts

"Gear" as we call it describes a group substances from Testosterone to Clenbuterol. These are all lableled as "Prescription Medicines" and are not classified drugs. This means gear falls under a different law "The Medicines Act"

Regardless if you are in procession of 20ml or 20L, the penalties remain the same and are lower on the scale of convictions than a traffic conviction.

Nobody has yet stuck there hand up and told the authorities how much gear constitutes "personal use" (possession of prescription medicines without a prescription) as opposed to "possession for supply"

If there is no evidence that proves that you have been supplying prescription medicines and you get caught with 50 bottles of gear in your pocssssion, you will likely receive "deferral" and have to pay a $200 fine to a charity of your choice.

If there is evidence of supply of prescription medicine and you are caught with 130 bottles of gear in your possession you will likely get a conviction and have to pay a $1000 fine as well as court costs and lawyers fees ($3500)

As a general rule the police are not actively looking for gear. The penalties do not equal the resources used to prosecute. Gear is usually only picked up as a bi-catch of a search for more serious drugs and most often the gear is only confiscated without charges being laid.

How could any of us possibly help you?

How long has it been? I've had a package turn up after 2 months and a seizure letter turn up after 3. Shit can take some time to arrive, especially when it it's coming from Moldova or some place like that.

Or maybe they never sent it. Only time will tell

Dude, under 2 weeks is nothing. Like I said, I've waited months before. Pretty much gave up on it and then it just turned up one day...

Moral of the story is have all your shit on hand (including pct) before you start
