Breakfast pancakes...?

I just want to know if anyone thinks it makes a difference how I eat my eggs and oats in the mornings.. let me explain..

Usually I have 4 egg whites scrambled with a bit of curry powder along with a bowl of oats (made from 1/4 cup dry oats) with a bit of sugar free jam mixed in...

The other day i put the egg whites and oats in a bowl added a little water and blended with a stick blender, I then made 4 small pancakes in the fry pan and spread my sugar free jam to them... AMAZING!

feels too naughty even though its the same exact ingredients... is it better to have the protein then carbs or does it not make a difference if consumed together?

up both protien content and carbs..

scratch the curry powdr and add scoop of whey or two.. increase that quater cup to a cup IMO thats more staple brekkie.. better still save you time of making them frying them spreading the jam ect..

just 1 cup oats in a bowl.. a scoop or two of whey top with milk microwave for a min...

if u must then sprinkle on some brown sugar.. time taken 1.30min marcos better than above pancakes lol less time and effort, u decide.

I used to eat pancakes for brekky all the time. If you mix oats and eggs they will cook up into a pancake yeah - it doesn't make a difference its exactly the same thing. As long as you factor in that it will be a tiny bit more fat - but that doesn't really matter imo. But I would have otherwise been having oats and eggs and fats anyway.

I usually use 45g oats. half a scoop of protein powder and 5 egg whites. You can add in berries or chopped dried fruit and cinnamon and vanilla essence etc. then i usually add like a small amount of butter on the pancake after aswell,

Without the fruit it works out to 30c/30p/10-20f depending on how much butter you use.

Thanks so much

I just find it way easier to eat oats and egg whites in a pancake form then individually, I cook them the night before and leave them in the fridge over night so there super easy to chuck in the microwave in the morn for 30 secs and boom breakkie of champs!
