Measuring

Recommended Posts

ohhh, and sorry for the double post... but just one more thing.

Fat measuring... We all know that best is calipers (well, best without having to sit in a chamber or whatever). I have however noted that the measuring method (Weight, height, neck, waist) seemed to be out by less than 1% when I measured with calipers and measure tape.

In order to just make it much easier to check progress, is it OK to just do the tape measure method. I know it is not the most accurate, but just easier than having to hunt down someone with decent calipers every now and then.

And Arms?

As I understand you just bend your arm (like flexing but not flexing) and then measure the bicep. That the correct way or should the arm be straight?

I just have my arm down by my side when measuring cold. Then bend it, semi flex to see where the biggest part of the tricep and bicep are, then full flex.

As for the bodyfat, I can't help you there.
