Bodybuilder with a big heart

Easy to blame on steroids but you have no idea what other drugs or factors were involved. Certainly there would have been thousands of deaths if the compounds he was using were the only contributory factor because they are the basics of most pre contest cycles.

I would like to see an article with evidence showing the damaging effects of long term alcohol abuse or the lungs and cardiovascular system of a smoker or the brain of a deceased crack addict, I would think 10x more people die from abussing these products than steriods.

Well same could be said for cocaine addicts, how many people are addicted to it and use it daily? how many stimulant addicts are fucked by the age of 31? Not that many it would have to chronic abuse coupled with malnutrition and the all important genetic factor.

I mean the guys heart was pretty enlarged and stop working effectively I mean oedema around the ankles is the first sign his left ventricle wasn't doing its job to link it straight to steroids is misleading in light of the fact that many men use steroids for decades before getting any problems and usually the problems they get are the same problems everyone gets when they are old. I would think longtime steroids users would get heart issues first though given the effect it has on lipid ratios. The good old lipid hypothesis for atheroma formation has alot backing it afterall. That said diet plays a major factor as well as genetics so basically just eat well and hope you're lucky.
