Hey guys,

Would anyone care to share their daily nutrition routine with me for bulking? Just kinda stuck on how to structure my meals and in need of some ideas for recipes and types of food and what sort of supplements to use pre workout and post.

Cheers.

Average advice bro.

Every bodybuilder knows you can't bulk on KFC alone. You need to mix it up with BK, McD's and Dominos as well!

Hes not as advanced as you bro, u don't think that might be too much for his first time?

Are we allowed to talk brand names thought it was banned....

Some refer to this as 'stacking' I would also reccomend cycling between restaurants or 'food groups' as I call them to avoid building up a tolerance.

You know... In real life, if a newbie came up to a group and asked a question, and everyone just joked among themselves while ignoring the newbie, you'd think they were pretty rude. :-s

Jaxx, I've just moved this topic into the Diet/Nutrition forum for you. Check out the Newbies Guide article in the top right corner. You'll find a sample diet and info on supplements there. :)

Yeah you're right Pseudo.

I guess the request was just too much to take in...

Just seemed too hard to answer this within a ... day.

Guess the best advice for him is to read the forums first ay? What do you think Pseudo you've bulked before maybe you have some advice... :pfft: hospital pass

Yeah, I know what you're saying, Android. And I do sympathise! :D

I guess my concern is that it's not just one topic, it's becoming a general thing - our newbie-helping culture doesn't seem quite as strong as it once was. It's also about what other people see when they come across these topics. You and I know that there are 1000 other topics all covering this question, but a first-time visitor just sees this question and smart-arse replies.

I used to post on another forum where the members had a tradition of answering these sorts of questions with the genius line:

"Hello new person, please read our FAQ."

Maybe we should start up our own tradition with the Newbies Guides.

Good points Pseudo it does look bad. These guys or girls prolly read the forum a whole first b4 posting and many might b put off by the replies for the new ones.

A Newbie section would b cool. Many might not think that when asking diet or exercise questions that current stats, current diet etc would b helpful, even necessary in some replies. Links to good articles our members have taken the time to write and been well received might also help

As Android mentioned, there's a lot to cover there. Reading the Newbie guides to Diet& Nutrition and Supplements would be a good start, but I'll try give some very simple advice;

Following someone elses nutrition routine is not recommended. You are an individual, and so are they. Bodyweight, activity levels, bodytype etc all play a big role in how much you need to eat to gain weight. An 80kg guy who trains 3-4 times a week with a sedentary job will need far less food than a 100kg guy training 4-5 times a week who works a physical job.

My advice would be to use our Calorie and diet calculator to get a rough idea of of your calorie needs. How you meet this through the day is really up to you, but a focus should be on Pre and Post workout meals. If you get your total daily calorie and macronutrient needs in those 2 meals thats fine, or you could split them across 6+ meals, it doesn't really matter. For supplements a whey protein shake with some simple carbs post workout should be enough to start with. Sorting your diet is much more important before introducing supplements. They are there to supplement a good diet, not replace one.

I'd also try to limit your weight gain to 0.5kg-1kg a week max, Anymore and you're almost definitely just getting fatter

The guides really should cover everything you need, and then if you have a few more specific questions ask away and you're probably more likely to get a good response

hahah lolz!

bro just get your self some whey and a monohydrate creatine and pile on the food well with discretion ofcourse, high carbs high protien aim for 6 meals a day, dont forget to drink water say 3L a day..and ofcrse eat, sleeep, train hardd..

keep things simple
