Serious though, it took me a very expensive 10 weeker of 1000mg Sustanon/week, a bloated baloon-like face and a lump on my right nipple to realise more gear wasn't the answer.

I've backed down to half that dosage on cycles after that, and started to spend more money on supermarket rather than on gear.

Best move.

So you're saying take enough gear to assist in recovery and let your caloric intake control your gains.... who the hell would have thought?

Lol unfortunately bodybuilding attracts a particular attitude of more is better, which it of course isn't. let me put this in bold because it's a basic principle of pharmacology and most idiots I see are completely baffled by the concept:

Use the MINIMUM required dose to achieve a desired result.

If you are gaining on 500mg, hell even 250mg a week then that's fine. You should exhaust all other options (changes to training, nutrition etc) before you increase your dosage or add more compounds.

I've said it a million times but your body does not like huge changes to its physiology, which translates to: rapid gains are usually harder to keep.

What happens too is people run 1 or 2 cycles, put on some nice 10 kg on their frame, then start a 3rd or 4th cycle using the same amout of gear, don't see any weight gain and quickly assume they need more gear to grow.

If you're 10 or whatever kilos havier you will obviously need more calories not only as maintanence but specially to grow.

I know huge guys who run nothing more than 500mg Test E por week always with amazing results. Why? Because every and each cycle they increase their calorie (protein/carbs/fat) intake.

Food bro agreed, always the answer otherwise when you come off you're just gonna shrink down to the size of your appetite and the gear was for what...a temporary gain?
