Eating the fat on the steak or not eating the fat on steak

Was he banned for asking a stupid question like that

Srs I hate people that avoid fats and have plenty carbs becuase it's the fat that makes you fat not the carbs eh.

It's both together that make you fat... one or the other isn't such a bad thing.

I eat all the fat I get on meat. I am not fat. I believe it is because the amount of fat I do eat is insignificant to the proteins and veges I eat.

I don't eat very much bread, maybe a sandwich a week.

Only just started to reintroduce pasta.

I find that fatties eat limited protein in their meals while maintaining high fat and carbs.

They eat more than they would if including a decent protein source.

Can't remember the source unfortunately but have read a few things that say its actually not good to remove the fat from meat as its essential (or at least hugely helpful) in processing the protein properly when digesting. And that without the fats you are unable to extract the same amount of protein. Or something like that?

I dunno, Im still trying to get that carb monkey off my back so fat round a steak is the least of my worries at the moment.

QFT, eat that shit, fat won't make you fat. low fiber and large amounts of carbs and fats will. In terms of cholesterol, cholesterol production is like 90% de novo, that is your body produces its own cholesterol, only about 10% comes from your diet, your body can alter production to match your dietary intake as well.

a calorie surplus gets you fat..

eg your maintenance is 2000cal

you eat 3000cal doesnt matter if its fat carbs or protein .you will get fat from the surplus

A calorie surplus allows you to gain weight...Not necessarily going to be fat. If you're eating 1000Cal over every day then yeah likely a fair bit of that weight gain will be fat, but 500Cal over from good sources and with a solid training program fat gain shouldn't be too significant.

Hell, for some 6ft 55kg twig 1000Cal surplus a day is likely exactly what they'd need, given they're training well to make use of the extra Cals.
