With all the recent talk of MuscleTech products lately id thought id post some famous quotes from MucleTech and other about the product.

"Using CELL-Tech, I gained 10 pounds of mass in only one week. This stuff is truly amazing!"

"After using CELL-Tech I gained 23 pounds of mass and experienced an unbelievable increase in strength. I've tried creatine but it doesn't even come close to the mass-building effects of CELL-Tech."

"I get more a pump eating a bowl of fruit loops than I do with Cell Tech" - Lee Priest

"Cell-tech has been shown to be 19 times better than regular creatine"

"Nitrotech has been shown to be 28 times better than regular whey protein for gains in mass and strength."

"Train hard, get plenty of protein and sleep, and don't forget to use MuscleTech® supplements, and you'll be adding new muscle like never before! Class dismissed!"

"Dont't waste your time or hard-earned money on ineffective supplements that don't deliver the results your looking for."

"The NITRO-Tech/CELL-Tech stack may be the most effective musclebuilding supplement stack ever produced!"

"Creatine and regular whey protein are no longer cutting edge supplements."

"In one study, subjects using the NITRO-Tech/CELL-Tech stack gained 11.4 pounds of mass in 8 weeks combining diet and exercise."

"With a portion of their multi-million dollar research budget, MuscleTech scientifically engineered NITRO-Tech and CELL-Tech to be the best musclebuilding supplements in existence!"

"Expect to see several CELL-TECH Carb Control counterfeits from many top manufacturers -- because it's the one that works!"

"Many creatines on the market don't have the hard scientific proof backing their claims up like CELL-TECH Carb Control does!"

Apart from evidencing the plague of hired shills besetting the Internet, these quotes point to the fact that the whole bodybuilding industry is largely a scam. If someone new to training were asking my advice of what OTC supplements to use, I would tell him that he MIGHT benefit from using creatine and a protein supplement. Although other supplements might benefit particular individuals, they largely seem to be overpriced crap. Same with the magazines.

The trouble with the bodybuilding industry seems to be that it is intent on cannibalizing its own support base. Instead of helping lifters spread the benefits of training to the wider public, they are intent of ramming as much of their overpriced, substandard crap down the lifters' own throats as possible. This causes the (largely impoverished) lifters to drop out of training when they can no longer afford the perceived cost. This shrinks the companies' marketing base, causing them to spend even more on advertising to ram their crap down the remaining lifters' throats, and they naturally raise their prices to cover their increased costs and smaller market. It's a vicious circle.

I agree. The problem is there is always a new tier of young BB'ers comming up, the poor bastards go out and read huge 6 page propagander ads in BBing magazines and are none the wiser. I would think that the newbies are the primary target for these companies, and that as the newbies prgress and gain more knowledge they then realise overhyped products such as these are nothing more than regular whey protein mixed with sugar and a few vitamins.

I mean just look at all the different types of creatine there are, kre-alkylene, creatine esters, creatines mixed with a transport matrix. Lets face it the best creatine has and probabley always will be good old creatine monohydrate.
