HELP! doing a speech on bodybuilding and need music!!

im doing a speech on bodybuilding at school, and using a slideshow to kill around 2 minutes of my speech (because im not that great talking in front of a crowd) its for english and i really wanna blow people away and show them a new side of bodybuilding and i want a really good song that will pump the slideshow up so any ideas?

-so i have to do presentation for class

-awkward as f*ck

-start working out

-not so awkward

-zyzz is my inspiration

-presentation again

-trembling

-just keep telling myself "i'm fawkin zeez bruh"

-get confident

-my turn

-i get up there

-start shaking uncontrollably

-start telling myself "i'm fawkin zeez bruh"

-teacher says I can start anytime

-I start off with "i'm fawkin zeez bruh"

-at this point I'm so nervous I blackout

-"i'm fawkin zeez bruh"

-repeat at least 4 more times

-look around the room, people are saying "why does he keep saying that?"

-girls start laughing

-I pass out

-hit head on the corner of teacher's desk

-minor concussion

-teacher thinks I was on drugs

-classmates call my zeezprah

-nickname eventually turns into zebra

-i haven't heard my real name in months

-haven't been this depressed since high school

What sort of response do you want the audience to have after seeing your slideshow? Are you trying to show bodybuilding as something that's hard work, but ultimately rewarding? Or are you trying to make them go "wow" at mind-blowing physiques? That's going to effect your choice of music - whether it's something inspiring (like the theme tune from Rocky), something slow and majestic, or something with energy.

Will you be talking over the top of it? If so, you might want to avoid anything with too many lyrics, and go for something instrumental instead.

After looking for songs to pose to for about 40 hours over last 3 months... :pfft: :grin: I'd suggest you type "Epic music scores" or similar into youtube. You find a bunch of themes from movies, video games etc that are designed to create emotion - lots of battle type stuff etc.

The music will distract from your speech in my opinion. If you are getting judged on the oral part, you need to make sure that is heard.

And visuals should support your voice, not be the main focus.
