Lollies and choc during weights sessions

I have been doing this for many years eating lollies and simple carbs during my workouts for a few reasons. Firstly it helps to give you energy, secondly it helps to kill off some of those cravings that you get for sweet bad foods during the thirdly it helps to increase your natural insulin levels while you are training. If you use the proper natural supplements like creatine, nitric oxides, bcaa, lglutamine and even a thermogenic you will increase your pumps and increase your overall muscle growth :) give it a go and see

I don't really care much for lollies and chocolates, no sweet tooth. I hit about 150 grams of dex before during and after (At least it makes the natural whey taste better!). On that note, lollies and chocolates would be fructose right, how do you feel about the dextrose is better than fructose thing BigKiwi?

HMmmm...I drink Coke when I've done a slin shot, never thought about sweet stuff during a workout other than that, it's H20 otherwise.

Damn, I'll need to wear one of those 90's bum bags to carry my lollies in won't I...?

How much would you recommend for somebody around 106kg? Especially while cutting because dextrose tastes like arse compared to party pack :)
Well I have never been one for weighing out much but having a big handful of lollies easily absorbing jelly like lollies and spreading them out throughout the workout rather than dextrose any day. I usually go on the bowl method, fill a bowl and eat them through my workout :)Yeah sucrose

diddnt u use to drink alot ok choc milk after your workouts bigkiwi?

Back in the old old days yep used to drink truck loads of choc milk all day long. But I stay away from milk these days apart from breakfast keeps you leaner and I think I am a bit lactose intolerant especially with 10litres choc milk day. Yep people do look at you a bit strangely eating heaps of lollies in the gym :)
