Use to run 6km in 19min to 19min30 in my running days

thats pretty fast, how much did you weigh at the time? i used to run 7km, fastest i got was 23min 50sec at 87/88kg

Was 5th/6th form at school so would have been about 60kg I reckon. Remember running 19.20 for 6km in NZ road race and getting 6th in that time for my age group.

Hey mate, I do a 8.17min 2.4km run, i think that's not too bad.

realistically i would consider 3km in sub 10.30 mins a good time.

I know the army allows 10.30mins for 2.4km but I think that's a little too relaxed. plus it's considered a G2 (grade two) which is not great. G1 army is 2.4km in sub 10mins.

Without some info, it is impossible to say what is good. Are you a 90 year old woman or an 18 year old man? I am a 40 year old male who runs competitively. I am currently running 3k in 10 minutes so for me anything under 10mins is "good'. Please provide some context.
