Okie deadlift bar

Anyone come across these in NZ? They apparently 'whip' and have a huge amount of osciliation as well, and are used for competition only due to the fact that they allow you to lift up to 40 pounds more than a standard bar- but you must train with a standard bar to take full advantage of the Okie bar.

Similar to the Texas power bar, but with more pull-I was watching Eric LillieBridge on RX muscle pull 360+ at 20 years old, he claimed he gets 30 kg's (66lbs) out of it.

So... Any gyms out there with one? They go for 1800-2000 plus on the net, so I dont think they'll be having one at snap fitness any time soon.

just use a Comp bar ...with knurling that would obliterate the callouses off from your ancestors

Just find a gym with a good Olympic Bar Eleiko (weightlifting) does roughly the same thing.

I'd love to get my hands on one as well, especially since its the off the floor portion that's hardest for me. Some guys in Aus have them, not aware of any here.
