GVT (german volume training)

so since i missed shoulders day, and im going to do GVT starting monday, i thought i'd give it ago and do shoulders & legs today.

what i did was;

A 10 sets of 10 - squats

A 10 sets of 10 - BB shoulder press

^ was suppose to be more, but stopped LOL

shit was fucking hard, not-muscle-fatigue-hard, but my heart was just racing like shit, i couldn't keep up

is that normal, or am i just unfit as f*ck for this LOL

i had 90sec rest inbetween supersets, it says 90 - 120, maybe i should start with 120 first. but i thought the whole point was short rests : losts of sets, 2mins seems long :(

anyway has anyone else felt like there cardio couldn't keep up?
