I use them for shrugs sometimes at the gym ...pretty good bars imo

get 1 that's rated 300kg +

that way when you drop it it wont fly to bits or bend

the one in the link above is rated for 680kg..

Although the bars on the one on trademe look really thin compared to some over seas models..
