well since you already got it, nothin to it but to do it as the big man would say. give it a good run and see how it goes.

i havent tried musclepharms ZMA but recently completed couple months of ON ZMA at 2caps a day (5~30mins before bed) and it has honestly been doing wonders to my sleep. generally no more waking up at night and i tend to wake up earlier and feel amazingly refreshed too. i also used to not dream most of the time ( or at least couldnt remember them ) so another stand out effect for me was the crazy dreams, like a full on movie in my head.

dunno about any other effects but i brought it for sleep anyway and it served that purpose pretty well for me.

Last time I took ZMA I have no idea what happened, except for the fact there were 3 dudes knocked out and the police had me in handcuffs and I had my shirt on backwards, be safe bro and go with christ

wtf that prob wasn't zma :) I think zma in general works well not sure abut this particular brand though :)

I struggle with taking ZMA before bed. I always seem to end up having it with dairy (which is a no-no because the calcium blocks the zinc), or forgetting to take it entirely. :doh:

But I assume that since it's more about keeping your mineral levels topped up, it can be taken at other times of the day as well. Although I don't know whether you get the same sleep effects then.

if I was going to bed at 10pm...

but eating my last 'meal' at 9:30pm (whole eggs and some whole almonds)

when would i take the zma? at 9ish before the food.... or eat at 9:30ish then have the zma once i wake up during the night on the toilet misson.... normally around midnight?

that was a huge problem for me at the start too but i found that for example if i had one meal at 7.30 and final meal of the day (protein with milk) was to be at 10.30, i'd just have the zinc at 10, shake at 10.30 as usual, in bed by 11.30~12. if results (crazy dreaming) are anything to go by, that 30min window is more than enough for the zma to be absorbed before the calcium gets to it.

I've read that ZMA doesn't do a heck of a lot unless you are zinc deficient. If you're getting at least your RDI from a multi and food is there any point?

maybe that's the case for use with testosterone boosting effects? far as i know, i'm definitely getting more than enough zinc from other sources but the ZMA before bed really does the trick to help with sleep

I dont if its just me but since i've been taking more zinc my libido has increased rather ever so nicely. Again maybe my imagination but i for a fact that it was down prior to taking zinc. Has anyone else experience this? Oh and im taking the Zincaps that doc prescribed at 50mg per day.
