Protein bars suggestions?

Hi guys,

I like to carry horleys protein bars ( low carb ) or the balance fuel to go bars with me when I know I'm not going to get time to have a proper lunch etc, but they are so expensive.

Do any of you have a homemade proteinbar recipe that makes the type of bar that doesn't go sticky and soggy in your lunch box?

Whist some of the mix'n'freeze bars are delicious, they can be a bit messy after they have defrosted and we don't have a freezer at work.

i'm looking for something preferably lower in the carb department, and not too high in fat.
