Lower Back issue with squats

Got a painful sensation while doing squats in my right lower back. I've reached 100kg and its only started up now( at the top of the squat as i straighten up). Any idea what i can do to increase the weight without having this problem. Maybe a belt but 100kg isnt really heavy enough to start worrying about a belt is it?

doctors time maybe

Cheers

elbows under bar stay upright throughout movement.

My back sometimes feels dodge if I do forced reps or something so make sure if you are going to fail TP has your back, if you get stuck try and push through just for a couple of seconds don't compromise form too much.

has your back. lul.

I think I know what you mean as I have the same knd of pain, is it a stabbing sharp pain? I get this when Ive been doing 3+ heavy squat sessions a week or when I practise golf for 2+ hours in a day then go squat. I find that resting it makes it go away after about a week. I have it at the moment from doing squat walkouts with 205kgs last saturday so not gonna squat heavy till it subsides

Also have this problem, same with deadlifts. It's like my lower back needs to be straightened out slowly, almost like a spasm.

I've replaced the squats and deads with some extensions and curls in the meantime to give my back a bit of a rest. Will see how it goes again.

Must say it is worse with deads than with squats though.

cheers guys, yeah kinda like a stabbing pain, always on my right side. I may not be straight enough or something, will try get a video this week. Funny thing is that it isnt there for deadlifts, specifically for squats

Cheers
