Another Newbie just getting started

Looking to get into bikini, fitness or figure once I figure out what I would be best suited to and the type of training I have time to commit to as well. Been involved in a variety of different sports and fitness in the past - running up to marathon distance, most styles of dance, general gymwork, crossfit etc along with being on the pageant scene (a few years back now) and ex-airforce.

Living in South Auckland (Franklin) but keen to hear from anyone that can point me in the direction of where to find out the best and easy to understand requirements of each category along with photos of winners in those categories (relevant to competitions in NZ) so I can figure out what I need to work towards a bit better. Reasonably fit still but not very toned at the moment so have lots of work ahead of me. Thanks!

Im also a newby to this whole thing!! its very very exciting i am currently training to do bikini or figure at the moment.... good luck and keep in touch with yah progress Have a look on google for figure and bikini finalists ect helps me and i have the pics of them plastered everywhere to keep me motivated...

I've been scrolling youtube and google and have printed out a few of the photos and stuck them up on the wall to keep me motivated as well. I have noticed that a lot of women seem to have had breast implants - does having them help the scores in anyway or if as in some of the american comps where they just look extremely fake do they get marked down?

Just not sure on the different organisations if they look for similar stuff, although the the winners and finalists do appear similar in build. I have a friend in Canada who has just started training for a Diva Bikini comp through WBFF which is different again to what I was finding online for things here
