NutraMASS ? Thinking I need mass gainer again

Think I've packed my little stomach up with full foods recently, seems when I go too high I get way too bloats and sometimes cannot stop the food from coming back up :S Unfortunately because of this, I often fall short on my calorie intake goals for bulking.

I thought I'll revisit mass gainers, even 0.5~1 serving (300~600kcals) each day should help me tonnes towards my mass gain goals and hopefully not bloat me up like a balloon.

Stumbled upon this NutraMASS by Nutratech, seems super cheap for a gainer.

Anyone tried it out before? Concerned about things like taste/mixability/bloating effects.

I can't comment on the product itself, but the label doesn't inspire me with confidence!

And for a NZ product, produced for NZers, why do the directions talk about liquid ounces?! :shock:

eat some peanut butter if u want to increase your energy intake. mix with yougurt, banana and protein and whatever else and enjoy

:nod: Adding some healthy fats can be a very easy way to up calories without adding too much bulk to your diet. Given you're already getting plenty of Protein and Carbs, it might pay to try adding 30-50g (270-450calories) from fat sources such as Peanut butter, Olive oil, Coconut cream etc. Or even just add a glass of full fat milk with 2-3 meals a day.

A cheap mass gainer I've found works well is

Mass gainer shake

Protein Fats Carbs KJ Cals

Protein shake 50 4.1 4.02 1067 255

Oat Bran 14.6 5.1 54.9 1340 321

Milk (Calci Trim) 11.4 0.4 9.6 370 89

Total Cals 663

Maybe throw a bit of Olive Oil in there for some good fats.

oh yes :doh: thanks, i'd forgotten all about this because blender was stuffed (wasn't me !) . also thanks for the peanut butter recommendations, i'll just give that a go instead for a while once i sort a new blender and see how that goes
