What type are you? What method of managment are you using to control your BG?

I have pretty much succeded in controling my type 2 with a clean diet, increased excersise and removal of almost all simple carbs out (biggest cause of spikes and falls of BG).

Cutting shouldn't be too hard with diabetes as long as you keep the meal schedule regular and high in fibre. Make sure each meal has some form of low GI complex carbs to maintain a slow release of energy into the bloodstream.

Fibreous vege helps do that.

Keep a close eye on your BG levels and plan a good meal for an hour ish before you workout.

Good luck

Dont think u want fruit? Being high in fructose would mess with things I think? I dont know much about type 1 but I do recommend spending a tiny amount of cash on consulting a nutritionalist if I was you. You might even be able to get a free referal as you're diabetic?
