Not feeling effects during or after workout

Myfinesspal gave me a good indication that I am undereating, but I am female so I'm not sure that my cal intake has to jump up to 3000 cal. I did notice that the protein recommendation on that tool was way below what my body needs, so I will need to seek advice on the exact amount of cals I actually need and the balance of micros.

And for those saying train harder....well this is not part of the issue. I think female benching 50kg, squatting 100kg etc my training efforts are not part of the problem.

And as this post is about feeling the effects of training, I have another question. So after training legs on wednesday, and as usual felt nothing thursday (which was my complete rest day) I went to an oxycore class, which I thought will help me stretch out my muscles and activate my core. HOWEVER, after the class I felt tired, and as the day went on my muscles became tighter and more sore than its been in months if not years. And this morning it is even more sore, especially glutes, back, shoulders, neck, even chest (and I have never had sore chest before).

Without wanting to sound harsh, you don't seem to know what your body needs, and myfitnesspal cannot tell you what it needs as it does not know what you would want to achieve. You do not mention any details as numbers, your weight, your height etc etc so would be very difficult for anyone here to give you any advice.

I don't think how much you bench and squat is any measure of how much effort you put in. 60 kg bench for me might hurt me, where 60 kg's for Arnold would be a waste of time kinda thing.

If squating 100 kg's doesn't work your legs, squat more. If it still doesn't work them, do a superset of stiff legged deads in and lessen your rest time in between. That kinda thing.

But yes, everything in this post is very vague as stated. I don't think anybody really knows yet what you would want to achieve, and no-one has any idea of your numbers and eating habits really, which doesn't really matter, as there is no goal specified really (Bulk, cut, etc etc)

Self gratifying behaviour is the downfall of many people wanting to make gains - the minute you think you are doing ok, is the minute you step into the realms of under training.

"Not feeling the effects" is directly connected to your training. If you think that your training efforts are not part of the problem, then you are deluding yourself.

Maybe try low volume with low intensity? Cos high volume and/or high intensity isn't working.

I posted this earlier...

Female:

Height: 1.67cm

Weight: 63kg

Oh... with all the facked up names here, it is hard to tell the difference between males and females. Many are both.

Perhaps you could include that fact under your avatar?

Any pics?

What good is a $30 training programme for someone with a 10 cent squat..
