Bulk Diet

Aite so i thought id post up my new bulk diet, for you guys to critque.

Stats:

18

85kg

15% BF

training 1 year

Meal 1:

Oats 100g

ON pro complex gainer(Half scoop)

Meal 2

2xSteak

Uncle Bens brown rice

Meal 3

2xChicken Sandwhich

Large can of tuna

Meal 4

Nutrigrain

500ml glass of milk

Pre workout meal meal 5

Oats 100g

ON pro complex gainer(Half scoop)

2xToast with margarine

3 Gaspari Vasotropin pills

Immediately post workout 1 serving of Cell mass

I will vary meal 6 from day to day. eg one day Steak and other day Fish.

Meal 6(i)

2xSteak

One can of baked beans

Handfull of vegetables

Calories:4017

Protein:275

Carbs:491

Thoughts and suggestions are more than welcome.

ps:I have a feeling the Carbs may be a little high, so i would love to get some clarification on that.

now their is a wee bit of guessing here on my behalf but these are my thoughts: i dont eat nutrigrain so i am not exactly sure but i would amagine they have a fear bit of sugar in them ?(try keep blood sugars steady) and its a pretty random meal to be having that time of the day in comparison to what you have for other meals. that is a lot of cals for someone who is 85clicks i am eating close to that and i am 105kgs obviously you have said you are bulking so thats fine so if you have the metabolisim to handle that load thats fine if not you may find you are putting on body fat for no real benefitial reason. just monitor as you go and tweek if need be. also im not sure what in cell mass? creatine based product is it? id chuck in something like a banana post workout for insulin spike if cell max isnt already packed with sugar which it probably is. first meal of the morning you should always chuck in a whole protein source eg eggs or something so when your body stops fasting it has bcaa and a good protein source on hand rather than a artifical source, eggs are great because they have all 7 amino acids. this is just my opinion but trial and era every one is different (sorry about spelling i r not so bright)

First of all thanks for taking the time to reply man i appreciate it :D . Yea i get what you mean about the nutrigrain, i honestly just added it in because i couldnt think of anything else.i actually might drop it to get my calorie count down to about 3700, but keep the milk.As for my metablosim yes it is high, but no were near as high as when i first began gym, yes i do put on fat tho.this is my first time trying cell mass as a good friend recommend it, so yeh lol. Oh and about the shake in the morning to be honest i go to school so i dont really get the time to wake up and boil some eggs or etc lol,

I will deff incorporate this in the weekends for breakfast instead of a shake tho.

4000 cals a day seems somewhat excessive. Where did you get this figure from?

Yeah your carbs are on the high side - but its also the type of carbs. Toast, nutragrain....there are far better alternatives.

In saying all that...

You're bulking - you will put on size if you eat like this and train hard. So depending on if you care about putting fat on or not - go for it and happy eating! :nod:

Hey thanks for the reply. Yea i will be dropping the nutrigrain which will take my cals down to around 3700 and am considering swaping the toast for sweet potatoes. Yes i want to gain weight but i dont want to gain excess fat ya know so yea lol. Thanks for the input :grin:
