Measuring quads

seems logical to me that you would measure it flexed and around the largest part of the leg (better for my ego too)

I mean u wouldnt measure your arms hanging unflexed and around the smaller part lower on tris eh?

my 2 cents

That's what I tell my trainer! (actually I use another body part for the analogy, you know what I mean lol)

But he does it (and others I guess) for consistency

what are yours at there largest part bro? legs of course.......(no homo)

I wanna know as well - 30"+ I'm picking! Off season & stage measurements please Quadzilla!

is there an official way?

if its just for telling everyone, go ahead and take the measurement from the largest point, wherever that may be for you.

for logging purposes though, make sure you can always keep a fairly consistent point of measurement for good comparison (so you can see if you're really growing or what).. according to my pt here, one way to ensure consistent measuring point is stand up, arms down, form that L shape with thumbs/finger so fingers facing down, thumb horizontal - measure from that point of your thumb tip.

Far out, someone didnt read my gofigure interview :pfft:

At the moment they are just under 30" where they flare out about 2/3 of the way up. Peaked at 31.5" in offseason.

Freak!!!

I've struggled to hit 29" in offseason - would love to be 30" onstage, but short of developing a tumour (inb4abscess! :pfft: ) I cant see it happening!

Remember you're only judged on appearance mate so if you can grow that tumor just right, I say go for it...just me

a 30" lean leg is a massive limb I held a tape measure around my leg at 30 and fair to say there was a bit of a gap Ive never been able to break the 29(at the biggest part of my leg) barrier either and not through lack of trying .... many years with a crushing bar across my back and my knees are starting to complain a little now.

heres a couple of pics of my legs precontest
