Big Round Delts question !!

Recommended Posts

Had a question about the roundness and the thickness of delts .. currently hitting shoulders hard out once a week. Dumbell press, lateral raises, side raises, front raises , rear dealts and shrugs ( not doing militart presses atm)

Is there any particular exercise which actually gets the roundness of delts ? I always thought itz lateral raises. Recently a PT at my gym asked me to do clean and press which seems highly questionable.

Any suggestions mates ..

Yeah, you should ask these guys why they do so much of it. Pathetic shoulder development

1) Lift heavy things over your head.

2) See 1.

You can even do sessions where it's just should pressing.

5 sets military press. 5 set dumbbell press. 5 sets smith machine press. Nothing that I've actually ever done before, but every now and then as a shock workout couldn't be bad. Basically try at least two pressing exercises each workout.

I'm not saying pressing isn't important, but doesn't that work the front delts more than anything else? Medial delts do get recruited a bit, but I always feel it more in the front. I'd have said it was the combination of exercises to hit front, side, and back that produced nicely rounded delts.

I do hit front, rear, and sides on my shoulders day. Would it help to hit shoulders twice a week ? 1st day doing the normal shoulder routine and on the other day jus pressing ?
