I didn't hear that, from talking to Jon davies at nationals here last year I got the impression he was just kicking off. However I know there's been some stuff happening up in QLD so who knows.

i am moving to aussie, can someone tell me who this john davies is and where i can find him! if he is turning out people like mark reid, is he a trainer out of a particular gym?

Jon Davies is based in Queensland, Gold Coast from memory. An ex-IFBB Pro who placed pretty well in some decent comps. His Facebook page shows some of his recent athletes - some of whom are of to the Arnolds now.

From memory online training with Jon starts around $1700 p/a so you'll be paying good maney to have him train you in the flesh, but if you want good results it don't come for free! :grin:

Jon Davies trains out of Worlds gym in Ashmore on the Gold Coast (best gym I've EVER trained at BTW!). It was ages from my house when I lived there but I still trained there every now and again. Met a few of his protégés. Logan Robson, Craig Cassidy etc. fucken awesome physiques. He knows his stuff. If I was still there I would have him training me too.

Ive got heaps of old video (VHS) footage I videoed off tv and from video I shot at contests during the late 80's and 90's should go back and post up some screen shots or youtube some of it

sure some would enjoy or find interesting
