Bf% & first cycle question

nemesis

Recommended Posts

So I got this mate..... :shifty: thinking of doing his first cycle this year. Been lifting fairly regular for a few years and transformed body compo pretty substanstially, but still prob sitting at around 20% bf at 105kg.

The question is, how important is it to drop the bodyfat down to the sub 15% mark before cycling?

My mate, plans on running adex along side 500mg/wk test e throughout the cycle and thought maybe another benefit of running the adex could be reduced risk of aromatization in the higher amount of adipose tissue? (forgive all the spelling mistakes) This isn't the main reason for running the adex but isnt a bad added benefit if so though.

Whats your thoughts out there?

Yeah keen to just get into it, but work commitments mean theres no way to devote the proper consistentcy to 10 weeks solid training and good nutrition, yet! After summer for sure! Theres no way, my mate, is gonna do this half arsed!

Whats the need for half inch needles over one inch? (sorry if dumb question)

I do them with 1 inchers atm, but my retardation kicks in and I hit nerves...not painful or anything just a bit freaky to see a muscle twitch

Fark that! I got enough twitches and involentary spasm already without that! Mental note to only get arse piercing 35mm pins. for my mate!

i would just commit for abit and get good habits underway, when you get your bodyfat down then begin the cycle. thats just what i would do.

having a lower bodyfat than what you have now has many benefits to what you want to achieve.

Yeah I know you're probably right. Fact of the matter is I can't really commit to the required schedule for eating, lifting or even resting till this seasons work ends anyway. So I'm best to use this time to drop some weight anyway.

Back onto the chicken and basmati it is then \:D/ But when this balk does start.....its gonna be done right! For my mate that is...... :shifty:

IIFYM is a great way for you to loose body fat. disregard meal timeing and meal frequency

you dont need low gi basmati rice or to eat every 2 hours... alot of the G.I system ratings and idealogy is flawed bullshit any how and its usefulness for the bodybuilder is so limited, it was created with the diabetic in mind... how often to u eat these high gi foods by themselves... i hardly ever do, i eat complete meals like you should be.. so i take no notice of the gi table and people who preech it

choose a daily calorie amount and divide it into meals then choose foods then eat it all in 2 different meals or 22 different meals... it doesnt matter!

if you wanna loose bodyfat this WILL work if you are looking at elite sports performance there are much better options but to get you there quickly and with less effort and interfering with your commitments... this is the way!

do this and follow the above protocol and youll loose weight.

Thanks Tom, I gotta keep the gi thing in mind somewhat as I am diabetic and its a potential diet killer for at least the whole day if I get too close to a hypo episode.

In saying that, I have improved my condition f*ck loads since last year and reakon I could get away with giving this a go in the form you've outlined.

Appriciate your time on this one.
