Gear and work drug testing

Either way you can still legitimately be on HRT with the men's clinic.

You could be fired if you signed something that said you're not to ever have abnormally high Test levels....but really?

Can't use a blanket "steroid" clause else you're stuffed when you take cortisone injections for valid joint pain.

Sounds like scare tactics...I'm pretty open about my use in the corporate world and call it HRT in front of CEOs and board members, it's pretty hard to not get noticed when you add 10kg in 10 weeks.

privacy ... they would have to have a strong clause in your employment contract to force you to submit a test - and some proof. Basically its none of their business what "medication" you use to treat your abnormally low testosterone level. Also, in general terms testing would be only permisable in the event you were in control of a vehicle/machinery etc ... i.e dope/alcohol etc.

If its not in your contract they can't make you test.

Sorry to call you out bro but this is incorrect.

Happy to start quoting case law on workplace drug testing if you need it! (AirNZ v EPMU, TLNZ v Maritime Union, NZSteel etc). I actually advise employers to keep it out of Employment Agreements & put in policy documents instead (consultation versus agreement/negotiation stuff).

Random Testing has the highest threshold, so as someone mentioned it is usually limited to "safety sensitive" area - good news for employers is that they get to deem what is safety sensitive (after consulting affected parties). Judge Colgan made some good points re: this in The TLNZ decision.

Back to the OP. No you wont get tested for AAS unless your job is still that of a professional athlete and your sport is signed to WADA etc (as it was with Rugby).

Some basic testing info can be found here for WDT, tho it may differ if using another provider (though standard still applies) http://www.esr.cri.nz/competencies/work ... gimes.aspx

my profession involves pre-employment testing, random and incedent testing candidtaes and employees. We do instant(urine) and lab(blood) and have the strictest policy, we test 300+ substances of which AAS is not apart of. however numerous other substances that BBers often take can be tested for and can be grounds for misconduct. so do your homework on your companies policy to avoid being caught out. but with AAS you're pretty safe

well I have heard of people taking alot of legal/illegal substances in bodybuilding most of which can be tested if required. Basically if you wanted to test for an AI ,SERM or a particular deurtic you would need to request the kit from aus or the states. Your employer would first need to know what hes looking for. 9 out of 9 times you will get the standard THC, cocaine, opiates, benzodiazepines, and ethanol. occasionally you will get one that checks for phencyclidine, pethidine, methadone, tramadol and barbiturates. I have heard of clen making it onto tests but never seen one, so just be advised. Slin and HGH are safe as far as I know.

For Soundsgood! LOL

Compound

Morphine - may derive from any codeine product (or obviously morphine suphate / homebake heroin etc)

Codeine - from codeine based drugs e.g. panadeine, nurofen plus etc

6-Acetylmorphine - morphine metabolite

Amphetamine - self explanatory

Methylamphetamine - self explanatory

Methylenedioxymethylamphetamine - MDMA ecstasy

Methylenedioxyamphetamine - MDA ecstasy?

Benzylpiperazine* - BZP party pills or old thermos

Ephedrine* - ECA or thermos

Phentermine * - appetite suppressents / diet pills (in duromine I think?)Pseudoephedrine* - any of the old hayfever meds worth cooking meth from! LOL

11-nor- 9- tetrahydrocannabinol-9- carboxylic acid - cannabis metabolite

Benzoylecgonine - Cocaine metabolite

Ecgonine methyl ester - I'm assuming another coke metabolite, google it?

Oxazepam - benzodiazepine (chill pill / valium type meds)

Temazepam - benzodiazepine (chill pill / valium type meds)

Diazepam - benzodiazepine (chill pill / valium type meds)

Nordiazepam - benzodiazepine (chill pill / valium type meds)

α-hydroxy-alprazolam - I'm assuming benzo metabolite, google it?

7-amino-clonazepam - I'm assuming benzo metabolite, google it?

7-amino-flunitrazepam - I'm assuming benzo metabolite, google it?

7-amino-nitrazepam - I'm assuming benzo metabolite, google it?

if i got tested theyd be adding a few things to that list...trolololol

LOL - thats the standard list (or was in 2010), but could ask for specific stuff e.g. hallucinagens, solvents (that you TWL?! :pfft: ) on top of that.

Most of the synthetic cannabinoids are now testable, some stimulants currently out there are not as far as I'm aware.
