Sleeping While Dieting

Recommended Posts

It takes me about 5 hours to get to sleep on my low calorie days, usually I'm not hungry, sometimes visualizing food but not even tired sometimes just bored as. Any tips for sleeping while I am dieting?

Have you tried:

ZMA

Kava

Zoplicone

If not give it a try, in that order!

Zombieclone ftw, 3 bucks for a month's script.

Zopiclone is a drug with the potential for misuse with the potential for causing dosage escalation, drug abuse and drug dependence. Zopiclone is well known amongst drug addicts as a drug of abuse and they commonly seek it from their doctors.

lol this you IDW?

Yeah I'm definitely gonna go get some prescription sleeping aids like zopiclone from my gp soon. Unisom sleep gels definitely put me out for the night but it's flip a coin whether I wake up feeling fresh or zombie.

How do you wake up on zopiclone IDW? Do you use it every night or only as required?

I wake up a box of birds. Hardly ever feel like I've not slept enough, usually I wake up a tad early now and have energy through the day, no tired moments. First several days you will feel a metallic like taste, but that subsides after several days.

Sunday through Thursday I use it.

Then I started taking Unisom sleep gels and now I sleep like a baby.

You mean you wake up every two hours crying?:lol:

I've just recently started taking ZMA in the hope it'll help me sleep better without having to resort to prescription meds. Not sure that I'm seeing any benefit as yet, definitely not on a regular basis anyway. Some nights seem to be better, others don't. Any thoughts?

A word of caution. Take Zopiclone only if needed. It took me several consults with different doctors to find the right med to get me off.

Trying to go cold turkey is hard as hell. Withdrawal is really bad.

After several days of Nortryptilene at 20mg 2-3hrs before bed, it was easy as pie to drop cold turkey. In case anyone ever comes across this thread - you might find this helpful!

Ha zopiclone, cant take this... I have to have 4 of these to have any effect and that's only if I'm lucky. Due to my ADHD, I take diazepam, but the last doctor that I went to would only give me 10 for the year where as my normal GP is happy to gave me them every few months.
