Overtraining exists. I just wrote a whole fukin sa on here before i thought why bother because everybody is gonna have something to say, so ill wait and see what comes from this. And i say this not just based on my own experience but also on my qualifications.

I definitely agree over training exists.

Just funny what the dude says and how he says it.

But my elbow DOES hurt! BRB - collecting stamps. :(

Darkmanx, you should post your thoughts. This could be a really interesting topic.

I LOLed at the collecting stamps comment. Nah man, listen to your body if your elbow's hurting.

Yeah man, agree with Pseudo RE:posting up your thoughts Darkmanx

I have commented on this issue before.

I do not beleive for 1 second that people who claim to be overtrained ever are. The human body is an amazing machine that will adapt to the stress that you apply to it as long as you are smart about.

Going from squatting once a fortnight to a max everyday you will f*ck yourself over.

However if you gradually increase volume and frequency you can adapt to being fuckin awesome on a daily basis.

Here is probably the best explanation Ive come across about how the cns is in relation to lifting heavy and often

yip, over training definitely exists, but most people will never reach the level of chronic stress to actually induce a true over-trained state. Most people who claim to be are just tired and need to harden up.

At work so cant view video atm, but liking the commentary from peeps on this topic.

Is it a case of people misunderstanding the difference between Over-reaching & Over-training?

http://www.powerbar.com/articles/49/ove ... falls.aspx

worth a quick read?

Problem though nate is that dude from my understanding is dismissing the fact that CNS burnout/overtraining doesnt exist. Anyway thats just what i took fron the vid.

More chest beating...

That's all it is.

Bell is a legit strong guy...but I find it funny how the guys that deny overtraining and things of that sort are usually guys that don't break national records and are often constantly injured.

Squat big weights regularly, deadlift heavy, clean big weights...after a while you realise from time to time that you simply can't move the weights fast because you're overtrained and need a break.

Bro-science.
