problem is im running out of steam, i wake at 7am and scull a coffee and off to work and then home at 10.30 and have a few weetbix for breakfast and im off to the gym for my session, will usually grab a bite to eat on the run as im to busy to stop for a good lunch, will have tea and then im picking for the rest of the night , this routine has to change cause i have no energy and im losing bugger all weight and im finding it hard at the gym,

so what i want is something that i can replace a cpl of meals with, any other ideas on how i can change would be great cause i dont have a clue, thx

id start by adding in some simple carbs after your workout (like 20~30g of dextrose) and if you can, a protein shake with water would be great... at least your body will be able to remain anabolic in this condition - at least with the added simple carbs post workout youll feel much better already!

also grab various nuts and munch on them during the day + make sure you are staying well hydrated. thats an easy workaround.

eventually you will need to work out just what is the right amount of foods for you to be eating (caloric requirement based on your goals) and potentially pre-cook yourself the right things the night before.

Protein bars, shakes stuff like prepared chicken and rice, eggs, protein powder with oats or weetbix.

Have something more substantial when you wake up and then aim to eat every 2-3 hours with a protein carb/meal taper off carbs at night try to consume the bulk during the day when your most active (around workouts) this will keep you from picking at night when its possible that it will be stored rather than burned for energy by the body, take the time to calculate how many cals per day and split the macronutrients ie carbs /protein /fats into however many meals then you will know exactly how much you need to gain/maintain lose weight. Then maintain this .......................................................

that horleys sports fuel is alright but ridiculously overpriced... only 40% of the content is protein, another 40% is fast digesting carbs - good after workout but definitely NOT what you want for breakfast, especially when you're so busy you'll find you run flat again by lunch. you can buy a high quality protein powder (nutrawhey for example) and simple carbs separately on the cheap for post workout. for breakfast though you are better off sticking to your weetbix or switch to oats
