Lately I have been doing a routine that on one day had 5x5 bench press followed by 3x8 incline dumbell press.

I have switched to a routine that has 2x6 incline dumbell press with no prior chest or tricep work. Doing this though, I am doing the same weight for 2x6 fresh as I was for 3x8 AFTER heavy benching.

I would have thought it would be the opposite since my chest/tri's wouldn't be fatigued from the heavy benching, but since that's not the case I assume it's because I'm not warming up sufficiently. I am currently just doing about 4 reps of 75% of the planned weight then 3 reps of 90%

Has anyone else noticed this? What do you do for your warmups in this case?
