bulk mode engaged as of the last 3 weeks and for the most part of the year back into the work routine after the festive and that so thought id post up my diet for critique if ya want.. so here goes

brekkkie

nutrigrain 200grmz

and a berocca to start the day (my multi vit)

1.5hrs later 5egg whites 1 scoop whey in 200ml slim milk

1st break 2 chkn breasts diced, handful of rice and mixed veges

2nd break 250g sirloin steak, handful of rice and again mixed veges

wash down with green tea just started drinkng ths tastes like shieet but helps with bloat i rekon.

3rd break 185g tuna on rice again

1 hour later 2 scoop myofusion in water

1/2hr bfor gym 100g uncle tobys oats

brute force mode engaged GYM TIME

after gym 2 scoop myofusion shake in water

1 hour after post shake- diner usualy watever mum makes shes clued up with my gym diet soo its usually 200g of some sort of meat with veges.

rest time

so yeah got into a routine of taking two lunchtins to work pre packed which works well cuz i know i gota fill em evry morning.

rice made for the week and chucked in the fridge, all my meat prepared for the week in advanced and fridged(marinated and cut up in portions that is0 just cook up a storm in the morning. i make sure i inc 3 meats daily cuz variety is good, but for some reason i fall short on the steak its replaced with an xtra chikn meal

i find that it makes life much easier if u prep evrything for the week in advanced and then just cook it up as needed or else thers no structure? might just be me though lol.

M1 44g P / 75g C

M2 45g P / (+ carbs in your milk)

M3 50g P / 25g C

M4 60g P / 25g C

M5 30g P / 25g C

M6 50g P

M7 60g C

M8 50g P

M9 40g P / 25g C (Guess based on your other meals)

So total looks like:

369g Protein / 235g Carbs

I'm not 100% sure on the figures as I'm still new and hearing loads of different shit but I think when bulking it's about:

2g per kg Protein and 4g per kg Carbs

For a bodyweight of 80kgs that:

160g Protein / 320g Carbs

You are eating a lot and frequently which is pretty good but perhaps switch out the steak at lunch for straight rice so you can decrease protein and increase carbs.

Bro that looks MEAN.

No advices just wanted to say I like that allot. Good idea on prepping everything for the week wish I was that organized

its easy come thoes lazy sundays buy all the meat and that u need for the week spread it across the kitchen counter and start yur prepping, i use two big tuppawerz for both chicken and steak so its fridged sperate and yeh take half hour at the max to prep bro, then u gta wake up a lil earlier to cook your food for the day but yeh the satisfaction taking bag packed with food to work is worth it for sure.

Yeah bro just hit back in a shake, how come?

Salmonella poisoning and the body doesn't absorb raw egg white as well as cooked. You should hit up some whole eggs and switch the nutrigrain for oats

Is ther a huge diffrnce? Its just much easier to hit back in a shake. Yeah switched to rolled oats

the protein in raw eggs is only 51% bioavailable, whereas that of a cooked egg is nearer 91% bioavailable, meaning the protein of cooked eggs is nearly twice as absorbable as the protein from raw eggs

The inside of an egg was once considered almost sterile. But, over recent years, the bacterium Salmonella enteritidis (Se) has been found inside a small number of eggs. Scientists estimate that, on average across the U.S., only 1 of every 20,000 eggs might contain the bacteria. So, the likelihood that an egg might contain Se is extremely small – 0.005% (five one-thousandths of one percent). At this rate, if you’re an average consumer, you might encounter a contaminated egg once every 84 years.

Harden up, nothing wrong with having raw eggs.

that wasn't really my point tho

not a matter of hardening up, i'm not scared of an egg

better off cooking them, and not just to void salmonella

I eat close to one tray of 30 ped day. hardly the average consumer. salmonella poisoning for sure withing a few a years if I were to eat raw.

Easy to scramble in thwe microwave, for 50g protein crack 7 size 7 eggs or 8 size 6 eggs into a large microwave proof salad bow an whisk up with a fork. For a 1200 watt microwave, heat on high for two minutes, then stir sides into centre and heat for a further minute then stir and heat for a further 30s if needed.

Salmonella sucks, not worth the risk. seen it firsthand in farm animals.

ok, you telling me one in every 20,000 isn't a risk? what if you eat more than an 'average customer' does?

my point was that hhh1 is a fgt. also, telling me to harden up is beside the point, where did i say i don't eat raw eggs cos im scared of salmonella?

cliffs, this is about the op not me, and 1 in 20,000 is still a risk not worth taking

You dont understand the risk of chance, just because you eat 20,000 eggs does not at all mean you will eat 1 egg that has salmonella. Each egg has the same 0.005%.

why talk about pra? either you're misreading my posts or i'm not articulating myself properly

original point was that there is some risk in eating raw eggs. i didn't provide anecdotal evidence cos i don't have any, but i know there is some degree of risk. the facts you posted prove that there is some risk. who cares how small it is? my point was made

subsequent posts were me shaking my head at people not being able to read properly. "there is some risk of getting really sick, might as well cook them" = "i'm personally scared to consume raw eggs 'cos of salmonella, therefore i don't eat them"?

i don't really have much more to say on this except to acknowledge the fact that the risk is very low, as your google wizardry revealed. that doesn't invalidate my original point
