I have had some real deep tishue massages almost like this and that hurts like a mothafu..ka. But i can also say that its just about the next best feeling from coming when it all done.

Yeah I had some pretty good work done with elbows & thumbs but not as hard as that. Its pretty difficult to find someone that can deal to lumped up muscle. Feel for Dennis as some of that tendon work in the arms & calves must have fckin hurt like hell

There are a few practitioners in Ak & Wn (google - Active Release Techniques)that use ART as part of their therapies but there does not seem to be any certified specialists in NZ. Its pretty big in the US. Looks to be the thing for strength training gym junkies.
