Crossfit is so epic

Oh yeah true, read it wrong :)

Agree though. Have come across more than enough dickheads in my time working in gyms, who generally tainted my views on BB and PL :P

I am a big advocate on people giving it a try (that's anything, not just CF) before they bag it too.

Except Zumba.

I caught the tail end of some cross fit world games (something like that anyways) on ESPN a few weeks back.

Those guys were 'F'ing going hart out

They would have to do 5 or 6 exercises in a row of a specified rep range (each person would be judged any rep not meeting the requirements would not be counted) stuff like double unders (skipping) then box jumps then military press then push a weighted sled etc etc. Elimination rounds with a final overall winner, it was a very impressive watch 8) from the comfort of my couch :shifty:

One thing I love about Crossfit is that we are always learning new stuff.

We got Richie Patterson doing a seminar here in Gissy tomorrow night.

Nice one. I know Richie really well, we used to train together for many years at MISH. You'll definitely be getting your moneys worth at the seminar.

Go hard bro.

crossfit is just a training programme.

Does it work ? Everything is subjective and if they likes it and getting the results they want, why does it matter that other crossfit gym is poorly organised and charging big $$$ for it ?

The argument is that MOST people say XYZ programme doesn't work.

And it's hard to measure the effectiveness of XYZ programme without getting an independent research.
